Hello, my name is Lee Hana. I usually work at a Japanese animation studio while also engaging in indie game development and participating in events. In this report, I would like to share my experience at the booth for the new anime 『未ル わたしのみらい』, which is also being participated in by my company, Scooter Films, as introduced in my previous report on Anime Japan 2025.

A Message for the Future Depicted in an Omnibus

『未ル わたしのみらい』 is a new original anime presented in an omnibus format by five animation studios. The story depicts a robot named “MIRU,” born in the future, who transcends time and space to accompany people from various eras. Through encounters with “MIRU,” people take small steps that lead to significant changes, akin to the butterfly effect.

This work, imbued with the message that “the future can be created by ourselves,” is being produced by my company, Scooter Films, in collaboration with Studio White. Given that it is a project that brings together multiple studios with diverse personalities, it is undoubtedly a highly anticipated work within the industry.

The Impressive “Itatractor” That Excited the Venue and the Bustling Booth

The presence of the “Itatractor,” which stood out even in the lively venue.

After touring the entire Anime Japan, my first impression upon arriving at the booth for 『未ル わたしのみらい』 was the large crowd. What attracted the people was none other than the giant “Itatractor” that sat majestically in the center of the venue. Many visitors stopped to take photos of this unusual exhibit that is rarely seen at typical anime events.

The impressive presence felt from the large vehicle, combined with the characters from the work depicted on its exterior, made me wonder, “Can you actually ride this?” In fact, this tractor was set up for actual riding experiences.

I also waited my turn to experience it, and the sensation upon getting on was more enjoyable than I had expected. It felt like sitting in the cockpit of a giant robot, allowing me to experience the feeling of being a pilot embarking on a significant mission. I thought this would captivate not only children but also adults.

At the booth, not only was there the “Itatractor,” but a voice actor talk show was also held. Tomokazu Ohno, who plays Mario Vasco Debrit, one of the protagonists in the work, appeared and shared episodes from the dubbing scene. What particularly stood out was his remark, “Isn’t it incredibly cool to have a tractor at an anime event?” The entire venue was filled with laughter, creating a warm atmosphere that conveyed the love for the work during the talk session.

Feeling the Response as Staff and Anticipation for the Broadcast

The commemorative goods of 『未ル』 that I received and purchased at the booth.

For me, as a member of Scooter Films visiting the booth, it was a very refreshing opportunity to see the work of my studio in this way. Since I usually work behind the scenes of production, being able to see the reactions of visitors directly was a valuable experience.

With the broadcast starting on April 2, this work has already become a topic of conversation on social media. Seeing the excitement at Anime Japan, it is clear that many people are looking forward to the journey of “MIRU.” I am eagerly anticipating what kind of message the story of a robot that accompanies people across eras will deliver to us modern humans—this day has become a special one, making me look forward to the broadcast.
